The alumni of the class of 1992 experience a summer full of wild pool parties, hot dates and part-time jobs. Caitlin is not ready to fulfill his desire to lose his virginity, but Tessa is! Meanwhile, Snake thinks his summer job as a lifeguard will provide the perfect opportunity for meeting a beautiful girl and “getting laid”. Wheels, pursuing his own dream, restores a beat-up car, but his ride to freedom leads him to jail when he causes a fatal accident by drinking and driving, leaving friend Lucy in critical condition. The Degrassi gang is splitting up, but Simon and Alexa’s autumn wedding reunites many of the young adults, who realize it’s time to move on.

brand new song: Snow Patrol – Please Just Take These Photos From My Hands
new album: a hundred million suns
Lyrics:
The yellowed page of the books and books
i’d forgotten that i had
these paperbacks they know their age
they smell of weight and time thats resting warm
the opened box beside the endless box parade
that haunts my house
is fit to split with photographs
that tell the wanderlust of years smashed onto years
(Chorus)
when all this actual life played out
where the on earth was i?
i rack my brains but it won’t come
through water damaged bloodshot eyes
the fleeting triumphs, brazen lies
all seem to mingle into one
i read you name under words in your elegant hand
you probably don’t mean now
i fold the letter and think of a million and one things
that i could have done different
(Chorus)
when all this actual life played out
where the on earth was i?
i rack my brains but it won’t come
through water damaged bloodshot eyes
the fleeting triumphs, brazen lies
all seem to mingle into one
one gigantic fairy tale
of friends i haven’t seen in years
drinking till the daylight hurts
you seem friendly who are you?
that’s a lot of wine that we got through
we’ve made playtime look like work
please just take these photos from my hands

Borger, Texas Police dash cam video showing the arrest of DA Clay Ballman after hitting another vehicle driven by a teenage girl who followed the intoxicated DA while calling 911 until his car came to a stop. The police were forced to break out glass to open the door. Count the number of times the police ask the “Boss” to get out of his car. Is this resisting arrest? Would the police be that patient with an ordinary citizen who pays their salaries through tax dollars?

UPDATE! So apparently, when she said she would take people’s names so they could go to her show later that night, she already had a full guest list, an overbooked show, and therefor none of these extra people were gained admittance.
This is Lady Sovereign on May 21st, 2009 at Easy Street Records in Seattle, WA. She was scheduled to do a free in-store performance as a promo for her new CD. She was clearly intoxicated from the get go, and after nearly completing one song, she stopped the show.
Granted, she did say that she would take names for anyone who wanted to see her show later that night at the Crocodile Cafe, for free. HOWEVER… That was a 21+ show, so anyone underage that came to see her would not be able to attend.
In her defense, it’s a free in-store performance where the artist usually does not get paid. But does that give her the right to call it off? Especially when her only other concert in town was 21+?
Personally, I think not.
ALSO: I never thought I would say this, but thank you PerezHilton.com! When I left for work my video had roughly 200 views, and when I got back home it was over 30,000! WOWZ.
And, I feel absolutely ridiculous for having to clarify this, but when I said “I want my money back”… it was meant as a joke… moron.
