What happens if i never received my under age drinking citation in the mail a month after I was caught?

I threw a party while my parents were away and the cops busted it. They were really nice and after they breathalyzed me and my two friends (the rest got away) they said they would try and get this done as soon as possible because I’m leaving for college shortly. It’s been a month and i still haven’t received my citation in the mail…Am I ever going to get one…and what happens if I don’t?

They have one year to charge you so you have a while to wait, although it usually takes between a month or two.
